This system is located in the Reed-McDonald building room 415. It has a Varian VnmrS console with an Oxford magnet, and 5 mm [1H/19F] {13C} {31P} specialty and [1H/19F] {X} Auto X probes.
NMR time on-campus is charged at $21.60 per hour on the instrument. The rate may be different for off-campus users.
This system is reserved using the FACES system. During the prime time hours (0800-2000hrs on weekdays) you may book up to FOUR 30 min time slots, which may be consecutive. Outside prime time hours (including weekends) you may book 12 hr slots. Reservations may be made up to 4 days in advance.
Training on this system is a 2 hr class held after the basic Varian training on the Inova 500. To arrange training, please check the Training Center.
