This system is located in the Chemistry '72 Wing room 1327. It has a Varian VnmrS console with an Oxford magnet, and 5 mm 1H {X} broadband and [1H/19F] {X} switchable probes.
NMR time on-campus is charged at $21.60 per hour on the instrument. The rate may be different for off-campus users.
This system is reserved using the FACES system. During the prime time hours (0800-2000hrs on weekdays) you may book up to FOUR 30 min time slots, which may be consecutive. Outside prime time hours (including weekends) you may book 12 hr slots. Reservations may be made up to 4 days in advance.
Training on this system is done by special arrangement, and only after the basic and advanced Varian trainings have been successfully completed. To arrange training, please check the Training Center.
